Farhan's blistering 80 Seals Win for Pakistan
Pakistan secured their second consecutive win in the Tri-nation T20I series, defeating Sri Lanka by seven wickets after easily chasing a 129-run target. Opener Sahibzada Farhan was the star, smashing an unbeaten 80 runs off 45 deliveries—a T20I career-high—and hitting the winning boundary in the 16th over. Farhan's performance, which included six fours and five sixes, also made him the first Pakistan batsman to log 100+ T20 sixes in a calendar year.
The chase was set up by a 47-run opening blitz with Saim Ayub (20), who achieved the milestone of 1,000 T20I career runs. Farhan then contributed 53 runs to a steady 69-run stand with Babar Azam (16).

In the first innings, Sri Lanka reached 128/7 despite a fast start (32-1 in four overs). Mohammad Nawaz, named Player of the Match, halted their momentum by dismissing Kusal Perera (25) and Dasun Shanaka on consecutive balls, contributing to a middle-order collapse. Janith Liyanage (41) provided late resistance to push the score to a respectable total.
Pakistan will face Zimbabwe next on Sunday, 23 November (5:30 PM PKT toss).
