Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) secured the President’s Cup One-Day trophy on Thursday, defeating Pakistan Television (PTV) by four wickets at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium. KRL comfortably chased down a 165-run target in 34.4 overs, earning a PKR 5 million prize.

The chase was led by Shahzaib Khan’s steady 53, while Muhammad Amir Barki provided a late spark to seal the win. Earlier, PTV struggled after electing to bat, collapsing for 164 despite a valiant 50 from captain Shamyl Hussain. KRL's bowling attack, led by Ahmad Hassan and Sufyan Moqim (3 wickets each), kept the pressure high throughout. KRL swept the tournament awards, with Shahzaib named Player of the Match and Best Batter, while skipper Iftikhar Ahmed earned Player of the Tournament honors.
